The novels of Gupta shows how her characters conscious of their identity formation and transformation in it. Dr. Ganesh Vijaykumar Jadhav (M.A. B.Ed. SET, Ph.D.) ist Assistenzprofessor am D.P. Bhosale College der Rayat Shikshan Sanstha in Koregaon, Satara (MS), Indien. Sein Interessensgebiet sind neue englischsprachige Literaturen. Er hat zwei kleinere Forschungsprojekte der University Grants Commission in Neu-Delhi abgeschlossen und arbeitet derzeit an einem dritten.
