Agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa has been characterized by perennial food deficits, cyclic families, declining soil fertility, and crop pests. The Kenyan farmers attribute crop pests as one of the major challenges faced in farming. Indigenous knowledge on crop pest prevention has long been neglected, with chemical pesticides taking over the agricultural sector. This book sheds light on indigenous methods used to prevent crop damages, at the same time ensuring sustainability and conservation of the environment. The book contains different methods that can be incorporated into today's world to not only save money for the farmers but also save lives.
