Details

Since ancient times, indigenous tribes residing in developing & underdeveloped countries have been the most backward and exploited community as compared to other ethnic groups. Some of the major problems faced by them are lack of facilities for education, health, sanitation and means of communication. Moreover, they are reluctant to seek help for their health issues & basic problems. So its our responsibility to identify and cater to their problems,so that even they can walk hand in hand with us. Traditionally these vulnerable tribes have been living in special ecological zones like forests far distant from civilized society .Henceforth a tremendous amount of honest effort and resources are required to bring about an awareness & a positive change in attitudes towards their own health issues. There is an urgent need to ensure their special care, protection & continued existence. This book highlights the detailed multidimensional panoramic analysis of medical & health problems faced by the tribal communities in under privileged countries. It lays down the foundation for ideal policy and decision making as well as effective implementation of health based programmes at local & National level
