Industrial Maintenance First Edition

The first chapter which entitles industrial engineering reviews industrial engineering from the viewpoints of: an introduction to industrial engineering, a historical overview of industrial engineering, scientific specialization in industrial engineering, fields of work in industrial engineering, human role in industrial engineering, the study of motion, the study of time, and human factors. The second chapter discusses industrial management from the considerations of: introduction to industrial management, study programs in industrial management, the major subjects or the specialization in industrial management, and artificial intelligence. The third chapter of the textbook which entitles industrial fatigue includes the following topics: definition of management and the importance of managing material and human resources in the optimal way to maximize profits and minimize losses, in addition to defining physical and mental fatigue, its nature and measurement. The fourth chapter which entitles maintenance management reviews the following topics: introduction to maintenance management, maintenance department duties, sections of the maintenance department.

Dr. Osama Mohammed Elmardi Suleiman Khayal was born in Atbara, Sudan in 1966. He received a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from Sudan University of science and technology in 1998, and a master degree in solid mechanics from Nile valley university (Atbara, Sudan) in 2003; He also received a PhD degree in mechanics of materials in 2017.
