Industrial Scale-Up of Green Blowers & Compressors

With the rising global concerns on climate change, energy demands, emissions, and decarbonisation policies, it has become essential for all industries to rapidly adapt and equip themselves with energy-efficient machines. Due to the efficacy of the existing conventional energy resources, large-scale green blowers and compressors are necessary to increase energy savings. Blowers' differentiation and categorisation are generally based on pressure rise, working pressure, specific speeds, and mechanical design. This book entails the significance of blowers and the geometrical aerodynamics and operating parameters. This book further explores the historical roadmap of turbomachinery for converting conventional blowers and compressors into green blowers and compressors. To further the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals realisation, efficiency and industrial scale-up for large-scale blowers and compressors must be improvised to fit the economic, socio-economic, ground-level implementation feasibility, sustainability (green) and geopolitical critical scenario.
