Infallible Indian Almanac

All Indian Panchangas (almanacs) of whatever variety are a total deviation of the observed sky. The difference as of now in the Makara Samkranti (Uttarayana - Winter Solstice) of January 14 to the actual of December 22 may not be significant but about 9000 years later, Winter Solstice will be found occurring on June 22. How absurd it would be is anybody's imagination. Hence a new Panchanga based on the Moving Zodiac as has been ordained by Varahamihira, Indian Astrologer and Astronomer par excellence, is the need of the hour. Temple or Domestic rituals are essentially governed by two important components, namely, ritual procedure and the muhurta time for the ritual, and the latter is most important of the two. When the muhurta time goes astray, the results go astray. When the results go astray, the world order gets disrupted. The almanac used for the purpose should be free of any errors. This book " Infallible Indian Almanac" is an exposition of designing an error free Almanac, on the basis of total solar eclipse, in the very land of its glory.
