The book has been an attempt to collect data regarding infections of the oral and maxillofacial region. although a vast topic, this attempt is made to concise the topic. A suitable classification is formulated to describe various infective conditions. Care is taken to explain each condition in detail and some of them with illustrations also. Separate chapters hace been created according to the causative organism. the medicolegal aspect has been give due consideration. Readers are advised to refer necessary references for indepth study.
