INFERENCES OF ELECTORAL RESULTS USING BAYESIAN STATISTICS

Electoral processes almost always yield descriptive results in which the support of a certain portion of the population for a given political party can be observed. Going beyond a simple descriptive analysis can be a challenge for those who wish to know the support of certain classes of the population for different political parties. This book provides a practical guide using Bayesian inference techniques to statistically identify these portions of support by defining two or more classes from the population of voters.
