Details

The role of chlamydia trachomatis in causing infertility among Iraqi women has been shown through the obstruction of the fallopian tube and that there is a genetic predisposition in women to infection through IL-10 polymorphism. Two new mutations discovered in IL-10 gene promoter regions (SNP -1218, -1213). On the other hand the plant extract(Gac Seeds Aril Powder) under investigation exhibited antiproliferative activity against HeLa cancer cells at the lowest concentration (1.5ppm) and found to be safe and selective against fibroblast cell line (Normal cell ) . These could be considered as a potential source for a novel anticancer therapy especially cervical cancer.
