Influence of corporate governance on performance of Faith based Sacco

Does Religion affect the way we direct business activities? Faith based SACCOs are manned by people majorly drawn from the clergy and the laity; Character is a great determinant to joining not only the SACCO as an ordinary member but also on who should serve in the different committees. Misappropriations, poor leadership and non compliance with legal requirements are expected to be non existent however these SACCOs suffer like any other saccos thus does corporate Governance affect Faith based Saccos perfomance?.
