Influence of Movies in Enhancing Life skills

Movies play a very vital role in present day education. The recognition of the growth and possibilities of this instrument has lead to many recent investigations in this field. The present study seeks to develop an empirically relevant model of the role of movies in enhancing life skills. A new model of influence of film is advanced from a developmental-interactionist perspective, labelling film as containing channels of comprehension (cognitive) and empathy (emotional,) with an integrative attitude dimension.

I am a native of India, a Post graduate of Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development currently working as a facilitator in one of the training institute in Bangalore.The work pursued for my masters degree primarily focused on the area of Life skills and related psychological aspects in a positive psychological framework.
