Influence of teachers' professional attitudes is a book with so many aims in mind. The book articulates some of the factors that can enhance teachers professional attitudes such as professional training, working experience, conducive learning environment and government attitude and commitment in terms of funding and prompt payment of teachers salaries and allowances. Teachers' acquired attitudes from social learning in the environment or through experience and exhibit attitudes for functional and psychological reasons such as for utilitarian, social adjustive, value expressive, ego defensive, survival and knowledge based. Teachers attitudes whether positive or negative are part of who they are and expression of that attitudes communicate important things about them to students and society. The book examined some of the essential professional attitudes of teachers that can uplift students' academic achievement like communication.

Elle est actuellement doctorante en psychologie de l'éducation à l'université d'Abuja, au Nigeria. L'auteur a enseigné la biologie dans des écoles secondaires pendant près de vingt ans.
