Digital India is a flagship government programme initiated with an aim for transformation of India into a digital society and knowledge economy which covered several government agencies and departments which center on three crucial areas: digital infrastructure as a help for all citizens; governance and services on demand; and empowering digitally. The programme focused on several growth areas, including universal access to mobile connectivity, public internet access and reforming government through technology. This study empirically investigates the Information Technology determinants on usage of electronic payment system on emerging landscape and presents implications for the Banks, website developers, e-payment application developers, to understand the need of the Users of e-payment system from the lens of technological advancements and by incorporating the study in casting out with an e-payment system which can be used without any fear of hacking and by providing digitally safe and secured digital banking.
