Inhibition of Mild Steel corrosion using natural product

There are many ways to prevent corrosion and this book is one such research work about the eco- friendly, biodegradable, inexpensive, non- toxic product as inhibitor. Due to the abundant availability and cost effective nature of mild steel, it is being used in many industries.But due to aggressiveness of the acids, dissolution of metal occur and it undergoes rapid corrosion. This book brings you the choice of choosing an eco friendly, cost effective inhibitor that is easily available in natural compounds for corrosion inhibition of mild steel. An evaluation of both 1 M HCl and 0.5M H2SO4 extracts of Lycopersicon esculentum (Miller) as corrosion inhibitors has been made in the present work.
