Initial training for multipurpose science teachers

Science teaching occupies a modest place in the curriculum of students in kindergarten and the early years of elementary school, even though it has been compulsory since 1971, many schools and teachers do not work on this subject in a way that fulfills its real objectives. In view of the above, the following question arose: How is the training of pedagogues for science teaching taking place in the public universities of southeastern Goiás?
