Innovation to Reduce Air Conditioning Use

Innovation drives human development by replacing more archaic methods, which could be crucial for the evolution of civil construction in Brazil. When aligned with the use of technology, new opportunities open up that can lead to the development of new materials. This book is a literature review that aims to expose and expand knowledge about innovative prototypes that share the purpose of replacing or reducing the use of fans and air conditioning, promoting conscious energy consumption and reducingCO2 emissions.

Luana Ribeiro was born in 1999 in the city of Osasco, in São Paulo. She has a degree in Civil Engineering from the IFSP campus in Caraguatatuba. In 2023, she published her first academic article on prototypes of innovative materials that could replace the use of air conditioning and in 2024 she decided to take a risk by publishing her first book in the field of research.
