Autorentext

Dr. Nikolaos Kladovasilakis is a Mechanical Engineer and Designer with extensive experience in industrial design, optimization procedures, and advanced manufacturing processes. He holds a M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (AUTH, 2017), a M.Sc. in Strategic Product Design with a specialization in industrial design and innovation (IHU, 2020), and a Ph.D. in Material Science and Additive Manufacturing (IHU, 2023). His research focuses on advanced manufacturing technologies, material characterization, process optimization, and computational mechanics. Dr. Kladovasilakis is involved as a senior researcher in numerous projects related to additive manufacturing, robotics, ICT, reverse engineering, circular economy, computational mechanics, and material characterization. He is the author of several scientific publications and holds multiple patents as an inventor.

Dr. Konstantinos Tsongas is a Professor at the International Hellenic University, specializing in the optimization of the performance of machines and industrial systems using advanced materials, advanced manufacturing technologies and computational methods. His research interests include Additive Manufacturing of composite materials, Additive Manufacturing of recycled composites for sustainable structures, lattice structures, architected materials, mechanical tests and material characterization, dynamic mechanical analysis, Digital Twins, Finite Element Analyses, vibrations, optimization processes and genetic algorithms. He has actively contributed to numerous research programs related to digital manufacturing and advanced construction and has published extensively in prestigious scientific journals.

Dr. Dimitrios Tzetzis is a Professor at International Hellenic University (IHU), specializing in advanced industrial technologies and manufacturing techniques as well as in materials engineering. He is also Head of the Digital Manufacturing and Materials Characterization Laboratory (DMMC Lab) and Director of the M.Sc. in Strategic Product Design at the School of Science and Technology, IHU. His research interests focus on the processing and mechanics of materials especially on composites and nanocomposite materials, destructive and non-destructive testing techniques, industrial design, additive manufacturing and 3D technologies. He is actively involved in various funded research and development projects and has published a plethora of scientific studies in the field of advanced materials and structures for various applications.
