Inove - Heater: A wasted opportunity in Brazil

Innovation is part of social technologies. Social technologies are defined as tools capable of solving society's problems, as long as they are easy to apply and affordable, using simple but efficient tools. Observing the high consumption of LPG gas in most domestic kitchens and restaurants, an alternative was developed to save and reuse it, making its use more efficient. The aim was to create a piece of equipment that could channel this "lost" heat and provide hot water throughout the preparation of meals, generating monthly savings of around 30 to 40% on the use of LPG gas. To this end, applied research was carried out, the aim of which is to generate knowledge for practical applications aimed at solving specific problems.
