Insecticide Susceptibility Status of Anopheles gambiae in Lagos

This is a book detailing the different susceptibilities of mosquitoes to different insecticides, at different concentrations. Mosquitoes are a menace in Nigeria and many parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. Since people use different insecticides to get rid of mosquitoes, it is fitting that these varying classes are tested for effectiveness, safety and lethality at different concentrations. Some insecticides were found to elicit high mortality in mosquitoes at low concentrations, compared to the other insecticides.
