Inspiration on the management of medicines and medical consumables

Medication management is the science of rational management and quality assurance of medicines. Its study is of vital importance in human, pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine, since drugs are the main weapon available to paramedics and veterinary surgeons to cure or relieve the sick. This course is aimed primarily at students at university institutions in human, pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine. It therefore focuses on what doctors, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants and nurses need to know and understand to manage medicines effectively and efficiently. Many aspects of pharmacology, particularly fundamental, technical and experimental ones, are more or less ignored. The reader will soon realize, however, that this is no mere aide-memoire. It has a much broader ambition, namely to serve as a reference for students throughout their course of study and, why not, beyond.
