Institutional Mechanism of Managing Disaster in Pakistan

Disasters by default have become a stark global phenomenon with multidimensional effects.The geographical location of Pakistan makes it the subject to most natural disasters. Pakistan is exposed to a multifaceted situations having geographical and sociopolitical factors. Physically it is exposed to vulnerabilities ranging from earth quacks, floods, droughts, cyclones, landslides, etc. The emphasis of this study is critically evaluation of institutional mechanism of disaster management or lack of it.
