The present insulating materials used in industry are harmful to environment and also causes health problems in humans. The purpose of this experimental investigation was to find out a insulating materials which could be cost effective, efficient in the insulation, strong yet lightweight and environmental friendly in a way that disposal of which should not cause health problems to living beings. The mixture of Rice husk and Plaster of Paris was selected to be used as insulation materials. The experimentation was done to analyse that what could be the best possible combination of mixture of these two insulating materials which could provide better thermal conductivity as well as mechanical strength to the insulation.

Il Dr. Chandan Deep Singh lavora come professore assistente presso il dipartimento di ingegneria meccanica dell'Università di Punjabi, Patiala. Ha completato il dottorato di ricerca in ingegneria meccanica nel 2016. Ha all'attivo circa 60 pubblicazioni su varie riviste internazionali e ha guidato circa 30 studenti per la tesi di M.Tech.
