Integral Agro-productive Systems For Agricultural Development
Details
The aim of this research was to develop actions for the integration of production systems used in family farming in the town of Namacunde. The techniques used to gather information were interviews, surveys and observation, taking into account the following indicators: agricultural activities carried out, the way in which agricultural activities are carried out, livestock activities practiced and the integration of production systems. From the data obtained, shortcomings were identified which suggest that in Namacunde traditional agriculture is practiced, with insufficient integrated management of agricultural and livestock systems, as well as the perception that peasants do not take advantage of the benefits offered by integrated farming systems based on agro-ecological principles. These results made it possible to formulate a proposal for the management of integrated agro-ecological gardens, which influence agricultural development in the town of Namacunde, Cunene province.
