In present study combined application of FYM @ 10t/ha + RDF +3t/ha Neem cake was found beneficial with respect to promotion of growth, yield and different quality parameters of sweet potato. It also affected significantly different yield contributing parameters like length of tubers , diameter of tubers, number of tuber per plant, yield per plot and yield per hectare. However, maximum net return of Rs.168279 as well as benefit: cost ratio (3.07) was obtained under combined treatment of FYM @ 5t/ha + RDF + 1t/ha Neem cake. This experiment may prove to be very beneficial for sweet potato farmers in terms of higher yield as well as price gain.
