Since the beginning of the 21st century, the Republic of Uzbekistan has witnessed an extensive growth in outward labor migration. Exports of labor have contributed to a high growth in money remittances from abroad which are now estimated to account for over 10% of the country's GDP. Present mongraphy discribes the formation and development of migration proccesses in the country and migration cooperation of Uzbekistan with Russian FederationFederation and Korean Republic.Monography aims to evaluate the long-term economic consequences from the labor migration in the examples of leading labor exporting countries like Philippines and Morocco. The lessons learnt from international experience can help Uzbekistan in formulating its policy for managing labor migration.
