Autorentext

Sophie Richardson is a Senior Customs Officer for the New Zealand Customs Service. Sophie holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Auckland (Psychology and Mori Studies) and a Masters degree from Massey University (International Security, endorsement in Intelligence). In her short time in the public service Sophie has worked not only with New Zealand Customs, but also the New Zealand Police and the Office of the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security. Sophie has worked with Dr Gilmour previously to co-author an article on the impacts of cyber crime on national security in New Zealand.

Dr Nicholas Gilmour is a former police officer and international policing expert. He holds a wealth of policing experience achieved during careers with the Lancashire Constabulary in the UK and the New Zealand Police. From 2010-2013, he worked in the Middle East as a principle policing advisor for Abu Dhabi Police. Nicholas holds a Doctorate in criminal justice from the University of Portsmouth (UK) and a Masters Degree in the prevention of transnational crime from the University of Wollongong (Australia). His most recent research and publications have focused on the prevention of money laundering, organised crime, and intelligence.
