INTERCEPTION OF DEVELOPING MALOCCLUSION

The interceptive and preventive orthodontic procedures enable the clinician to treat and make a developing malocclusion less severe so a to allow the corrective orthodontist to deliver a stable and more conservative treatment plan benefitting the patient. The chief benefits of early treatment procedures are, to guide growth to a more favorable direction, to reduce chances of extraction and surgery, reduce phase II treatment time length and most importantly improves the esthetics of the patient.
