This book does not depict rare and unusual (and hence not so significant) case scenarios in a surgeon's clinical practice. But, it represents a compilation of interesting as well as clinically important cases that Prof. Priyadarshan Jategaonkar has come across in his surgical practice. Each of these cases projects a distinct useful message to the reader. Moreover, some "on-table" surprises may be easily avoided after going through this book. It also includes some studies based on Prof. Jategaonkar's innovative technique of trans-umbilical multiport laparoscopic surgery that may be contemplated as the "hybrid" mid-way between conventional laparoscopy and single port laparoscopy. All in all, this book should help enhancing the clinical experience and expertise of the reader.

É Gastroenterologista Cirúrgico e Cirurgião de Acesso Mínimo da Índia Central e tem mais de 20 anos de experiência nesta área. Também trabalha como Professor de Cirurgia.
