The mechanisms of social participation are an alternative to generate inclusion, hence the proposal to promote, manage and carry out intergenerational meetings that allow different generations to integrate in order to exchange diverse experiences; Thus, it is necessary to design educational strategies to make the youth population aware of the ageing process and the state of old age, so that they acquire theoretical knowledge, but also create proposals for generational exchanges with recreational, educational, research, sports and leadership activities that have a social impact, The most significant aspect of developing these processes is that although the youth population learns about this particular subject, the most important beneficiaries are the older adults, who will participate in multiple activities in their different contexts and places that will allow them to participate as citizens and improve their quality of life.
