Intermediation and Qualification of Workmanship in the Garment Sector

The intermediation and qualification of labour in industrial sectors has been a great challenge for public managers. In sectors with low technological development this challenge is even greater. The research is delimited in the Greater ABC region, considered the cradle of industrialization in the city of São Paulo. The clothing sector, the second largest employer in the country, is the focus of the study, analyzing the public policies developed by the seven municipalities that surround the region.

Wirtschaftswissenschaftlerin mit Abschluss an der Städtischen Universität von São Caetano do Sul, wo sie auch einen Master in Verwaltung mit einer Forschungsrichtung in Management und Regionalität absolvierte. Sie arbeitete in der öffentlichen Verwaltung als Wirtschaftsberaterin und Koordinatorin für Wirtschaftsentwicklung für die Stadt São Paulo. Derzeit ist sie Universitätsprofessorin und Projektberaterin.
