Internal Nursing Surgery of the Liver, Bile Ducts and Endocrine Glands

The body's largest gland, like the plant that stores a large number of substances involved in metabolism, changes and secretes. The liver stores nutrient-rich blood directly from the gastrointestinal tract and converts it into chemicals. It is a large organ with abundant blood vessels located behind the ribs in the upper right part of the abdominal cavity. It weighs between 1,200 and 1,500 grams, and is divided into 4 lobes. The blood supply to the liver is usually from two sources, the portal vein and the hepatic artery. The hepatic blood flow is provided by 80% of the port vein, which is rich in nutrients and less oxygen and drains from the gastrointestinal tract is done. The terminal branches of these two sources of blood flow in the form of capillary beds, forming the hepatic sinusoids, which drain into the central vein. The central veins join together to form the hepatic vein. Therefore, the liver has two sources of blood supply and one source of output. In this book we try to publish some notes about Internal Nursing Surgery of the Liver, Bile Ducts and Endocrine Glands Based on Nursing Practices and Care.
