International Agricultural Research Organizations

The Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) is a global partnership that unites organizations engaged in research for sustainable agriculture development. The work supported by CGIAR is carried out by 15 members of the Consortium of International Agricultural Research Centers, in close collaboration with hundreds of partner organizations, including national and regional research institutes, civil society organizations, academia, and the private sector. The Vision of CGIAR is to reduce poverty and hunger, improve human health and nutrition, and enhance ecosystem resilience through high-quality international agricultural research, partnership and leadership. The book "International Agricultural Research Organizations" is written according the syllabus of HEC Islamabad (Agron-716) for the post graduate students. Not a single book is available on the subject. It is hoped that this book will be of some value to the students of agriculture. The author is grateful to the online materials of CGIAR which have been used in the compilation of this book. The author will be extremely glad for any constructive suggestions for further improvement in the book.

El Dr. Amanullah Jr., actualmente trabaja como profesor asistente en el Departamento de Agronomía, Facultad de Ciencias de la Producción de Cultivos, Universidad Agrícola, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistán. Ha publicado más de 80 publicaciones de investigación, incluidos 30 artículos en revistas de factores de impacto. También ha publicado un libro sobre (Common Bean).
