Autorentext
Yumiko Nakahara is a Professor at Kyushu Sangyo University. She has been involved in joint projects with companies worldwide, including those from newly industrializing economies in Asia. In the 1990s, she worked in the Computer Division at Sharp Corporation and earned her PhD in economics at Kyushu University. Her main concerns are the international migration to and from Taiwan, the development of Taiwanese IT companies, and the global R&D activities of Taiwanese companies.
