The focus on this work is to analyze how this
particular medium has
developed: in terms of technological facilities and
penetration; in terms of its new
interactive paradigm of gathering issues of a global
society s concern and its
commitment on raising global awareness, instead of
propaganda.
The main intention of this book is to help on
understanding better the reasons
why the improvement of international radio
broadcasting, in a global sphere, represents
an important step in the seek for a New World
Information and Communication Order -
by conciliating ethic journalism, providing room for
multicultural/multilingual debate and a new
way of reporting and analyzing news.
