Internet of Things

Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging and promising research field due to its importance in many applications including e-commerce, industry, education, etc. Recently, new applications and research challenges in numerous areas of IoT are explored. This book displays the history of IoT, discusses the different possible IoT architectures, and proposes a global e-learning system based on IoT. Also, it introduces the concept of IoT database and shows its future vision. Finally, it demonstrates other important IoT issues including security, robotics, and WSN.

PhD from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Menoufia University, Egypt, 2005. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Menoufia University, Egypt and Taif University, KSA. His research areas are Computer Networking, Internet Protocols, Multimedia Communication, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Internet of Things.
