Interocclusal records

Recording maxillomandibular relationship is an important step in oral rehabilitation.This relationship is transferred to the articulator such that the laboratory procedures done on the casts will correspond with the patient's mouth.To properly evaluate a patients occlusion, it is mandatory that diagnostic casts be placed in an articulator in approximately the same relationship to the Temporomandibular joint as it exists in the patient.
