In the health care setting, professional work includes the establishment of direct interpersonal relationships, which go beyond the simple interaction between two individuals. The therapeutic relationship that is created between nurse and patient involves the establishment of common goals, collaborative relationships and exchange of mutual help; from a holistic perspective.
