Intracor

One of the final frontiers of refractive surgery is the treatment of presbyopia. In the past decades numerous solutions were presented, but the perfect solution is still awaiting to come. INTRACOR is a purely intrastromal femtosecond laser treatment designed to produce multifocal cornea by means of increasing central corneal steepness. Procedure demonstrated a reasonable improvement in uncorrected near visual acuity in presbyopic patients with minor degrees of hypermetropia.

Maja Bohac was born in 1981 in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. She studied medicine at School of Medicine, University of Zagreb, Croatia. She specialized in ophthalmology at University Eye Hospital Svjetlost, Zagreb, Croatia where she currently works as a head of Refractive Surgery. Her main fields of interest are cataract and refractive surgery.
