Introduction to Automotive Sensors and Actuators

This book provides an idea on different types sensors used in vehicle and its measuring principles. It also gives a brief explanation about the types of actuators used in vehicles. The book starts with the introduction of sensors and its applications in automotive industry. Then it talks about the requirements taken into account while designing sensors and also regarding the selection of sensor technologies based on the user requirements like cost, size, accuracy etc. The book gives a detailed explanation about the construction, working and measuring principles of various type of sensors used in vehicle along with figures. Also, the working principle of three main categories of actuators is discussed in detail.
