INTRODUCTION TO MEDICAL IMMUNOLOGY AND SEROLOGY

Over the last many years, immunology and serology has increased exponentially to apply in medicine. Since then it is very important diagnostic tools in the entire world. With this bang in popularity has also come rise in the need for immunology and serology within medical area to diagnose diseases both in infectious and non infectious conditions. For that reason, in preparing this book, it should be short and to the point, and provide the students with a complete knowledge. It contains different ideas from different recently published books and research literature including procedures, techniques, principles and methods of reporting laboratory tests. I believe it will be of a great help for those who are engaged in the actual medical practice at clinics, health centers, hospitals and other medical institutions as it is rich enough with every clear explanation and precise information of laboratory procedures and technicalities. Finally, the normal values of tests and definitions of important terms are included at the end of the text so that any health worker can read and understand it anywhere without a need of any guide.
