Introduction to Plastic Welding and Adhesive Bonding

This text has been written to serve as a concise guide to provide relevant knowledge for plastic welding and adhesive bonding. The knowledge presented in the text is borne out of over a decade experience teaching courses in metal joining processes, non-metallic materials technology, plastic welding and adhesive bonding. This text is therefore recommended as an introductory text in plastic welding and adhesive bonding for all students, offering technical courses in colleges, polytechnics and universities; and for all who are interested in plastic welding and adhesive bonding.

Mr. Victor A. Adedayo is a Registered Engineer, and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering in the Institute of Technology of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a member of many professional organizations which include the Materials Society of Nigeria.
