Dr Priyanka R. Jain is an Endodontist by profession with over 24 years of clinical, academic and research experience. Her credentials include MScPH, MSc (Health Care Management), MDS (Endodontics) and BDS. She has worked and lived in different countries including India, UK, Qatar, USA, UAE and is currently based in Manila, Philippines since 2018 where she is the Section head for Endodontics in the College of Dentistry, National University, Manila. She is also the Vice-Chair for the Ethics Review Committee for the University. She is a published author of 5 other book titles in Endodontics which have been translated in various languages. At present, she is leading research on tobacco cessation counselling in the Philippines.
Ms. Umber S. Khan is an experienced epidemiologist with a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, as well as a Master’s degree in Women and Gender Studies. She also has a background in nutrition. With over 10 years of experience in the public health sector in Asia, she has collaborated on various projects with prominent organizations, including the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Columbia University, and York University. These initiatives focus on improving health and nutrition in low- and middle-income countries. Ms. Khan is affiliated with Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and is currently residing in London, United Kingdom, where she continues her work with Aga Khan University.
