Introduction to Sociology

Sociology is one of the most important social sciences. Without knowing sociology, it is difficult to fully understand the complex social reality. The book "Introduction to Sociology" is a textbook that aims to outline the fundamentals of sociology. It is divided into 22 chapters and covers all relevant topics within contemporary sociology. In addition to the standard themes for sociology, this textbook deals with topics that are relatively new, but dominant in sociology in the last two decades. Also, the textbook contains topics that have been forgotten in sociology for a period of time, but have recently been re-actualized. The quality of this textbook is that it tries to present complex sociological concepts in a simple and understandable way.

Kire Sharlamanov is an associate professor at the International Balkan University, Republic of Macedonia, Skopje. He has published many articles in relevant international journals. The field of his scientific interest is political sociology, communications and social movements.
