Introduction to the Study of Algebra in Elementary School

The motivation for developing this work came from observing, in theory and in practice, that the introduction to algebraic thinking in elementary school is surrounded by countless failures, which often makes it traumatic. This book is the result of constant work to improve mathematics education. It is the fruit of reflections, seeking effective teaching solutions for successful learning in mathematics, especially algebra.

Studium der Mathematik an der Universität von Franca. Master in Mathematik an der Bundesuniversität von São Carlos. Seit 2008 unterrichtet sie an öffentlichen Schulen und ist derzeit Mitglied des Lehrkörpers des Bundesinstituts für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Technologie von São Paulo.
