Introductory Animal Behaviour

The book begins with an introduction to the study of animal behaviour and describes different kinds of innate and learned behaviours, animal communications, defensive behaviours such as camouflage and mimicry with suitable illustrations. The book presents the important aspects of social behaviours such as altruism and parental care. The text also presents different types of migration and methods of navigation. Finally, it provides discussions on the control of animal behaviour.
