Intrusion on Tomorrow

Before the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics foreigners saw China as an exotic country with a Great Wall. Intrusion on their future, in the form of ignorance, superstitions, famine, poverty, rebellions, opium, missionaries, mercenaries, trading with White Devils,floods, corrupt dynasties, and authoritarian governments kept this mysterious culture from awakening. Yet the Chinese were always creative, resilient and proud. The Middle Kingdom, advancing at lightening speed, would strive for a Tomorrow with an honorable legacy for their children.

Celia Corrad received her Bachelor and Master's of Liberal Studies from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida. She worked with Sea World Florida and Director of Admissions with Beacon College. She attended the Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions in Barcelona, Spain; and studied in China with Rollins College.
