Inventory management: an applied approach

The competitiveness among companies makes it necessary a better management and internal organization to have some competitive advantage. The search for efficiency and effectiveness in activities and in the organization makes it more competitive. Given this fact, the present study seeks to present the main concepts and tools that refer to demand forecasting practices associated with inventory management activities.
