The book investigates the rhetorical style of the American President Barack Obama during his first presidential period from 2009 to 2012. It tackles twenty international speeches for Barack Obama during his first presidential period. It adopts Chilton and Schaffner's (1997) approach of political discourse analysis (PDA)carrying out linguistic analysis on different levels.
