Erosion and wear in FBC boilers is the main cause of boiler tube failure in power generation industries. Hence studies on various boiler steels used for FBC Boilers was conducted and erosion and wear investigation on boiler tube steels was carried out as per ASTM standards. The results obtained from this investigation are discussed with the existing published literature of the concerned field with the help of some case studies.

Dr. Gurbhinder Singh is renowned academician having more than 15 years experience in teaching and research. He did his doctorate from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee . He has served various institutes at different teaching positions. Currently he is serving in Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Punjab as Professor and Dean Engineering.
