Investment appraisal

The multiplicity and creation of private schools and businesses at national level, and particularly in the province of North Kivu/Goma, are due to the lack of state employment. This means they can find out how long it will take to recoup their investment, the major risks and difficulties involved in running a school complex, and whether it is profitable to do so. Private schools face a number of risks and difficulties in running a school complex, such as: student insolvency, lack of qualified staff, lack of textbooks and teaching materials, payment of inspectors and other inspection-related costs, hassle from public services.
